Jennifer + Shawn

Jennifer and Shawn recently got married at the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama. Jennifer put so much thought and planning in every minute of their special day. I love it when brides and sometimes even the grooms have special details placed everywhere. It is well worth the extra time and planning to get pictures like these. For something fun, Jennifer gave all her bridesmaids a pair of super hero socks to wear which they took time to model during the reception. Jennifer is one of the most gracious brides that I have ever had the opportunity to meet and photograph. Jenniferblog 1 Jennifer blog 2 Jennifer blog 3 JenniferBlogv4 jenniferblog5

Samantha and DJ

I met DJ while he was playing baseball with my son. I have enjoyed watching him grow up into a fine, young man that also is a natural when it comes to modeling and posing. Samantha and DJ make a beautiful couple who are so sweet to one another. Samantha is extremely creative and easy-going. We started the shoot with rain, and Samantha did not care. She just wanted to take pictures with DJ - rain or shine. The venue is a secret place that has now become my favorite place especially since Gray Photography won an award for one of their engagement pictures. A post on the award will soon follow. Looking forward to the wedding in 8 days....... samantha blog

Heather + Brandon Engagement

The afternoon with Heather and Brandon was perfect. The two of them have so much love for each other as you can witness by the way they just "fit" together like two halves making one whole. They kept me laughing as we shot the afternoon away. Brandon also told me that he did her chemistry homework in high school to try and win her attention....looks like it worked. Thanks for letting me capture your love for one another. Untitled-3 Untitled-2 Untitled-1

Allison loves Johnny!

June weddings are always amazing. It's not too hot, not too cold. Everything just happens to be just right with the world at this point in time. Allison and Johnny knew exactly what they were doing when they planned out this special day to share their hopes, dreams, and combine their love. There was nothing missing from this day- and it was especially not lacking anything blue.

Allison and Johnny were so excited to say their vows. They practiced for days on end to just say those words in the perfect way. Love is in the air with out any doubt.

Covered Wagon Wedding...

Hot pink, turquoise blue, golden orange and so much color came along with this wedding decor that I could not hardly control myself from photographing every single detail of this wedding. This bride was lucky enough to have a massive amount of friends and family more than ready to go out of their way to make this wedding extra special. Every detail was specifically planned down to the UT colored flowers that decorated the cake.

Much of the details from this wedding were brought all the way from the state of Texas. I absolutely adored the fact that there was a variety of cobblers available at the reception. It fit in perfectly with the southern country, rustic style. The tables were made out of  "saw-horses" and the tent and covered wagon were completely authentic.

Sarah had a gorgeous group of ladies to assist her every need, each one of them as individual as the bouquet that they held as they walked down the aisle. Friendship runs deep in the heart of these special girls and they know how important it is to be able to share this event and be apart of the memories forever.

Sarah recorded a song ahead of time and had it played as she walked down the aisle with her sister. Adam could not help but tear up when he heard it! I felt like I was in the midst of a special moment where only the two of them existed. It was a moment of wonder as they eventually joined hands, hearts, and souls on this extraordinary day.

A wedding fit for a "King"

Have you ever been to a wedding fit for royalty? We were fortunate enough to be able to capture the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. King on this sunny afternoon. If you haven't seen already an extremely popular color this year has been a variety of the shade of blue. Even my own daughter chose a color similar to this one. Amber decided after much debate that  royal blue and bright pink would be the perfect color for her wedding decor. I really do love how much thought and preparation she put into this.

With his beautiful bride in his arms, Josh was able to steal a kiss in just a few seconds. A perfect dip is hard to do- I can not tell you how many times I have tried to explain  how to "dip". Josh seemed to have no problems with this task.  He was a complete natural.

Have you ever seen a more cheerful bride? Amber was so excited to become Mrs. King that she couldn't hardly hold it in. I think there is no question about how deeply in love this couple is with each other.
