Britney + Mike Wedding

Wow, I loved my first time shooting at Annabella at Cedar Glen in Huntsville, Alabama . Absolutely gorgeous venue and I included lots of shots of it so if you are looking for a place to get married you can check it out. Everything about it was perfect- Several different outdoor location sites, a beautiful area to get ready in- landscaping was gorgeous- it was just a breath of fresh air. The owners were wonderful and were so helpful and were genuinely excited about hosting Britney and Mike's wedding. You just really felt at home there. Check them out if you are looking for a wedding site. Britney and Mike made me happy! I am always looking for the bride and groom that want lots of pictures, are fun, and easy going and they hit a home run with me. I love a bride who isn't going to let a few or alot of raindrops ruin her day or let anything or anyone for that matter take away their happiness. I have been beyond blessed with my share of brides and grooms that inspire me with their outlook and attitude on life. We are treated like family and I am so humbled by that. The weather was predicted to be really bad -thunder storms and even possibly tornadoes. Thankfully, alot of things that make us anxious never even happen. It turned out to be a beautifully perfect day! We even got out with umbrellas and played in celebration that we didn't have to use them at all that day. I loved the gifts they got each other. Britney surprised Mike a beautiful little photo album (see me if you would like to do the same for your husband to be). He LOVED it! Mike gave Britney a new name plate for her office. How thoughtful is that! Italian was on the menu and fun was for dessert. The last three pictures are my favorites. The cheezits are how Mike wooed Britney. What girl can resist cheezits!  Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family on the bestest day ever! Andy+ Lauren Engagement

I love the month of January! It allows me to catch up on some blogging that I have gotten way to far behind on. This is Andy and Lauren. Sweet Sweet couple. I had the honor and privilege of photographing their wedding as well which I will post shortly. I can't tell you how easy going this bride was. She always has a smile on her face. She is creative too! I can't wait to show you what she gave her groom as a wedding present! Thanks Andy and Lauren!! Untitled-1 Untitled-2

Jennifer + Shawn

Jennifer and Shawn recently got married at the Botanical Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama. Jennifer put so much thought and planning in every minute of their special day. I love it when brides and sometimes even the grooms have special details placed everywhere. It is well worth the extra time and planning to get pictures like these. For something fun, Jennifer gave all her bridesmaids a pair of super hero socks to wear which they took time to model during the reception. Jennifer is one of the most gracious brides that I have ever had the opportunity to meet and photograph. Jenniferblog 1 Jennifer blog 2 Jennifer blog 3 JenniferBlogv4 jenniferblog5

Samantha and DJ

I met DJ while he was playing baseball with my son. I have enjoyed watching him grow up into a fine, young man that also is a natural when it comes to modeling and posing. Samantha and DJ make a beautiful couple who are so sweet to one another. Samantha is extremely creative and easy-going. We started the shoot with rain, and Samantha did not care. She just wanted to take pictures with DJ - rain or shine. The venue is a secret place that has now become my favorite place especially since Gray Photography won an award for one of their engagement pictures. A post on the award will soon follow. Looking forward to the wedding in 8 days....... samantha blog

Drew turns TWO!

The afternoon with Drew and his sweet mom and dad was so much fun. Drew has the greatest house filled with toys and his loving pets. Drew never stopped smiling and giggling and that makes our job so much easier at Gray Photography. As you can see, Drew even managed to get in a little "flower planting" or should we say "flower pulling"! drew v2

Heather + Brandon Engagement

The afternoon with Heather and Brandon was perfect. The two of them have so much love for each other as you can witness by the way they just "fit" together like two halves making one whole. They kept me laughing as we shot the afternoon away. Brandon also told me that he did her chemistry homework in high school to try and win her attention....looks like it worked. Thanks for letting me capture your love for one another. Untitled-3 Untitled-2 Untitled-1

Macy - Class of 2012

Macy and I had the best time taking her senior pictures. She was up for going anywhere and doing anything that I asked for her to do. Macy - Good luck on your future endeavors! Gray Photography wishes you the very best. Untitled-4 Untitled-3 Untitled-1

Crystal + Joseph

Crystal and Joseph had a beautiful emotion filled day for their wedding at Riverbend Event Center. Joseph (a self proclaimed nerd) walked down the aisle to Ridin' Dirty much to the delight of all the guests. When they were pronounced man and wife both Crystal and Joseph updated their Facebook status! Crystal has a very special relationship with her parents that caused all of us to tear up. I am not going to lie- Joseph can get down and dance with the best of 'em and that's the pastor dancing with him - happy happy wedding! :)Untitled-1 Untitled-2 Untitled-3

Kaelin - Class of 2012

Kaelin is a dear friend of our family, and I was honored when she asked me to take her senior shots. She is as beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Kaelin is the catcher for the Giles County softball team and next year will be wearing the colors of red and black as a Martin Methodist Redhawk. Untitled-1 Untitled-4

Abby and Chad
Abby and Chad had a beautiful wedding on St. Patrick's Day at Riverbend Event Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee. The most memorable moment of the day for Abby and Chad was during their special moments when they got to see each other for the first time. Abby said that neither of them could speak, and it was an intense and wonderful moment. Untitled-3 No wedding is complete without something being forgotten....like the groom's suit coat at home. Thank goodness somebody was able to get it to Riverbend in time for the ceremony. The green shoes and argyle green socks were a wonderful St. Paddy's touch. Untitled-2Untitled-4 No two weddings are the same, but as a photographer, at the end of each wedding you want to have a full heart from witnessing the love that two have shared. Abby and Chad - thank you for letting us witness your love for one another!
