April and Steven engagement

I met April as a bridesmaid in another wedding I shot. She was a little camera shy then, but she definetly shined in her engagement pics, but who wouldn't when her
fiance,Steven's smile can light a whole botantical garden.

This couple was very courageous. They had no problem taking their shoes off and exploring the gardens. I love the purple flowers and the old trees that became witnesses to this secret kiss.

She fit into his arms perfectly. They had no problems being close. I was able to tell that they were very much in love just from this simple pose. She felt safe in his arms and He did not want to let her go.

April and Steven

Photography really does take a lot out of you. I found a very private bench and decided to take advantage of the opportunity. It turned out just as I hoped.

April and Steven

Some of the best photos happen without the couple's knowledge. April decided to show Steven a fish that drifted up to be photographed, as well. They were so fun and full of life. The reflection in the water turned out amazingly.

Another pond picture. Look at those amazing eyes.
April Stephen

Steven would barely take his eyes off of her.

They practically glowed with love.

Another bench with interesting bystanders. The flowers were almost flawless and the couple enjoyed another rest.

This shoot was simply a walk in the park. They played for the camera and just had a great time.

I told her that she looked so fierce.

She couldn't resist a smile at the remark.

She could barely control herself.

Finally, a not so private kiss. A little old lady's face brightened with joy and probably some embarassment when she saw April steal a kiss from Steven.

This gives a new definition to "happy feet"

He sometimes gets lost in his music. April has to steal his attention by holding the strings. His favorite artist is Dave Matthews. He was kind enough to play a couple of melodies to relax everyone.

A shoot just isn't a shoot unless there is some form of trespassing involved. KEEP OUT means nothing to us. One day we will get caught, but we didn't on this day.

There are certain reasons for trespassing. This is definately the best one that I have found. This firescape made for one of the best shots of the day. Her expression is timeless. And Steven loved every minute of it. They blushed as I explained what I was aiming for with this scene, but in the end they were great sports. This absolutely makes my day.
