April and Michael

Don't tell a lie to April. She'll know. April has the unique ability to be able to tell is someone is lying to her. That talent landed her the unusual job as a Tennessee Lottery Inspector. Everyday she interviews those suspected of fraud. Because I have 4 children, I was intrigued by this and ask for some secrets. April says the best thing to do is just to keep asking them questions about their story and just wait until they mess up. Great advice April. Thanks for the tips!
We shot April's bridal at Union Station in Nashville- absolutely gorgeous. This was my 2nd time to shoot there and I would love to do so again.



April asked Michael out 3 times and 3 times he turned her down. She said Michael knew she would never ask him again and that's when He sprang into action.


It is such a pleasure to work with couples like April and Michael. They are laid back and relaxed and you can't help but laugh at all of April's hilarious stories.
April said her first impression of Micheal was that he was cute and that he looked like he was lost.Michael said that he was definitely not lost, but he thought April was beautiful and full of life.





Michael asked April to marry him in Vegas. They were walking thru Cesear Place and he got down on one knee in front of the fountain that is a replica of the Trevie Fountain in Rome.


Michael admits that his favorite part of the wedding was seeing April walk down the aisle. April loved being about to share the wedding and reception with the people who meant the most to them.


They chose not to use the traditional wedding music. but instead chose songs that meant something to them. April walked down the aisle to "The Rose" and they walked out to "This will be an Everlasting Love."

They went on a dream honeymoon to Belize in Center America where they went scuba diving.

Michael enjoys seeing the smile on April's face when he sends her flowers for no reason at all, just because....


When I asked April what the most challenging part of planning her wedding was. She told me that it was deceiding who would walk her down the aisle. She didn't want to chose between mom and dad. She solved the problem by walking down the aisle by herself... but her brothers surprised her and escorted her down the aisle which was very emotional and beautiful.


April tells us that Michael always tries to put others first... and that he makes her feel like she's the only woman on earth. Michael loves the fact that April is the most transparent person he knows. "She's honest with a big heart, loves to laugh. What you see is what you get"
