10,000 Villages in Nashville,TN

Each year the First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville, makes a journey to Nashville to visit a wonder shop called "10,000 Villages" in order to raise money for third world countries. Each piece of art, jewelry, fabric, etc. is hand crafted by an individual living in a third world country who is in desperate need of help. They sell these precious items at the annual Host Of Christmas Past held on the square in Lincoln County , TN.

A percentage of every perchase that you make goes back into these counties. God leaves signs everywhere- it's about taking the time to stop and notice them.

I've always wondered how they decide what to buy. It was very interesting to see theses shoppers in action.

There are so many colors and designs to chose from. It is hard for them to decide what to buy. They have to think in terms of their potential customers and what they would like to buy.
